What started as an inspiring story in the spring of 2006, quickly grew into a powerful and strongly anchored content platform. Thirteen years, three well-deserved awards and a few nominations later, the 50th issue of CHEF magazine is shining in every METRO store, on the internet and at every catering customer.

Three-star chef on the cover

None other than our three-star chef Peter Goossens is featured on the beautiful cover of the 50th issue. The cover even comes to life when using the augmented reality app VEEEW. Scan the cover and get an exclusive look behind the scenes.

The cover also decorated the Horeca Expo and at the event for the bestowal of the Michelin stars. CHEF even got media coverage, which led to many positive reactions. Valérie Vander Haeghen, personal assistant of Peter Goossens: "We would like to thank you and METRO again for the beautiful article in CHEF magazine and the large and very impressive billboard of Mr. Goossens, which adorned the walls at the Michelin and Gala Dinner. Our chef was very impressed."
